It is very important to use a Standalone Photovoltaic (PV)/ wind hybrid inverter system under various conditions using power simulator PSIM software. The proposed system in this study includes two renewable sources which are wind and solar energy. The modelling of PV array and wind turbine is clarified; the wind subsystem of an induction generator is also prepared. In photovoltaic systems, different direct current DC output voltages are controlled using buck-boost converter for the Maximum Power Point Tracking MPPT. These two systems are included together to work in parallel and the basic transport bus collects the total energy from the wind and PV system and uses it to the load and change the load. Moreover, the project deals with the modelling and simulation of a network associated to PV and wind hybrid power systems. Both systems are parallelly connected and fed to the grid. Finally, the output of the combined PV-wind system is fed to the inverter is called a smart inverter. The performance of the hybrid system in terms of power quality and stability was assessed. The output power of this hybrid photovoltaic/wind power creating system is suitable for industrial and residential uses.
