Chrome plating quality control
The following parameters need to be controlled to ensure the quality of the chromium plated layer:
1. Solution temperature: too high a solution temperature may lead to softening of the chromium layer, while too low a temperature may affect the deposition rate and granulator.
2. Current density: too high a current density may lead to roughness and increased porosity of the chromium layer, while too low a current density may affect the deposition rate and thickness.
3. Reaction time: too long a reaction time may result in a thicker chromium layer and lower hardness, while too short a reaction time may affect deposition speed and uniformity.
4. Electrolyte composition: the concentration of each component in the electrolyte also has an important effect on the performance of the chromium layer, such as chromium ion concentration is too low will affect the deposition speed and thickness, too high will lead to the precipitation of a large amount of hydrogen gas.
